About these terms

These Terms & Conditions apply when a business or individual uses signetmetalcards.com, requests a quotation or orders products from Signet Metal Cards, a business operating from the United States. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to the terms that apply to that activity.

Mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live are not excluded or reduced by these terms.

Using the website

You may use the website for lawful personal or business purchasing purposes. You must not interfere with the website, attempt unauthorised access, misuse forms or accounts, introduce harmful code, or use the website to infringe another person’s rights.

You are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and for the accuracy of information submitted through your account.

Products and quotations

Many of our metal-card products are made to order. Product images and digital previews are intended to help describe the product, but screen settings and normal manufacturing processes may produce minor visual differences. A material difference from the approved digital proof or agreed specification will be reviewed under our Refund & Returns Policy.

A quotation applies only to the products, quantities, options, artwork and delivery assumptions stated in it and is valid for the period shown on the quotation. If a quotation conflicts with general website information, the accepted quotation controls for that order.

Orders and acceptance

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. We may review availability, pricing, payment, product compatibility and artwork before accepting it. An order is accepted when we send an order confirmation or otherwise confirm acceptance. If we cannot accept a paid order, we will cancel it and return the applicable payment.

You must provide accurate contact, billing, delivery and project information. Please notify us promptly if you identify an error.

Pricing, taxes and payment

Prices are shown in the currency displayed on the website or quotation. Shipping, taxes, duties and optional services may be added as shown before purchase or stated in the quotation. Available payment methods are those presented at checkout or agreed for the order.

If a clear pricing or configuration error is discovered before production, we may contact you to confirm a correction or cancel and refund the affected order.

Artwork and customer content

You confirm that you own, license or otherwise have permission to use the artwork, names, logos, trademarks and other content you submit. You grant us the limited permission needed to review, prepare, manufacture and deliver the order.

We may refuse content that appears unlawful, infringing, harmful or unsuitable for production. You remain responsible for the content and accuracy of customer-supplied artwork.

Digital proofs and approval

Where a digital proof is provided, you are responsible for checking spelling, contact details, layout, orientation and the approved product specification. Production begins only after we receive your approval of the digital proof and the other required order information and payment are complete.

Approval authorises us to produce the order from that proof. Changes requested after approval may require a new quotation, additional payment and a revised schedule. Proof approval does not remove your rights if the delivered product is materially different from the approved proof or has a qualifying quality problem.

Changes and cancellation

Before digital-proof approval, you may ask to change or cancel an order. We will review the request based on the work already completed and any non-recoverable costs. Any available refund may be reduced by reasonable design, preparation, payment or other costs already incurred.

After digital-proof approval, the order is authorised for custom production and change-of-mind cancellation is normally unavailable. We may still agree to a change or cancellation where production has not progressed, but additional costs and timing changes may apply. This section does not limit rights relating to defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied products.

Production and delivery

Production and delivery estimates depend on proof approval, specifications, quantity, capacity, destination and the selected delivery service. Estimates are not guarantees unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing. Delivery options, international charges, tracking and delay handling are explained in our Shipping Policy.

Quality concerns, returns and refunds

Please inspect the order after delivery and contact us promptly if it is damaged, incomplete or materially different from the approved proof or agreed specification. Our review process and available remedies are described in the Refund & Returns Policy.

Third-party services

The website may rely on third parties for payment, hosting, forms, delivery, tracking or other services. Their own terms may apply to services they provide directly. We are not responsible for third-party websites that are outside our control.

Our responsibility

We will provide products and services with reasonable care and in accordance with the accepted order. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate customer information, unauthorised artwork, customer-approved errors, misuse of products, or events outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability or customer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. For business customers, any additional project-specific allocation of risk may be stated in an accepted quotation or written agreement.

Applicable law and disputes

Signet Metal Cards operates from the United States. Applicable law may depend on the nature of the order and where the customer is located. Any mandatory consumer protection that applies to you continues to apply.

Please contact us first so that we can try to resolve a concern directly. If a dispute cannot be resolved, the rights and procedures available under applicable law remain available to both parties.

Updates and contact

We may update these terms when our website, products or operating processes change. The terms in effect when an order is accepted will continue to govern that order unless a change is required by law or agreed with you.

Questions may be sent to Signet Metal Cards at [email protected].
